This is without a doubt one of the most beautiful ways to experience Costa Rica. Most snorkeling and diving trips take place around Caño Island due to the island’s corals and the diversity of marine life attracted to the area. Caño, which is one of the best diving spots in all of Costa Rica, gives you the chance to see a variety of fish as well as larger species like sea turtles and oceanic whitetip sharks.

The trip starts with a 1-hour boat ride to Caño Island. Once there, there are 2 dives in different marine areas around the island (there are 6 marked diving spots), and each dive lasts about 45 minutes.
