The Floating Tour
19 de noviembre de 2024Night Walk on Caletas Beach
About this trip
On the night tour, you can explore hidden Costa Rica.
Many rainforest inhabitants are nocturnal, which makes the rainforest an exciting and magical place to visit after dark.
On the night tour, equipped with flashlights, you can see and examine life that is usually hidden from the human eye.
Throughout the tour, the guide will reveal interesting and informative aspects of nighttime activity in the rainforest: the impact of insects on our lives and theirs. Moths, iguanas, frogs, and spiders are common sightings, with snakes, even wild cats, and other animal species present, but they are seen less frequently on the night tour.
The night tour departs shortly after dinner and lasts about 2.5 hours around the incredible Caletas trails. Just make sure to have a good flashlight, which will serve as your main source of light as you walk through the rainforest. Hiking boots are highly recommended for the night tour.
Led by resident naturalist guides, the night tour awakens you to a world you never knew existed.
