This tour is a full day from 7:00 am to around 3:00 pm. Leaving from Uvita towards Isla del Caño with about a 1.5-hour boat ride, there is a great chance to spot whales during whale season, as well as dolphins and sea turtles. Upon arrival at Isla del Caño, there are 2 guided snorkeling sessions, each lasting about 40 to 50 minutes. Between the snorkelings, a snack is provided, and after the snack, you go down to the beach for about 15 minutes with access to the bathrooms and the island’s viewpoint (this is only if the wave conditions allow). Then the second snorkeling session takes place. After finishing the second snorkeling, a picnic-style lunch is served on a nearby beach, and after lunch, you return to the starting point.
